A CT Technologist is a radiologic technologist who specializes in computed tomography (CT) imaging, using rotating X-ray equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body. These scans help physicians diagnose injuries, tumors, vascular disease, and internal bleeding. Job responsibilities include positioning patients, administering contrast media when ordered, operating the CT scanner safely, and following radiation-protection (ALARA) protocols.
