Special Requests:
- Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
- Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months; candidates may not have been directly employed full time, part time, or PRN by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
- Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details:
- Performs ER and inpatient CT studies with and without contrast.
- Starts IVs.
- Uses Fuji PACS and GE scanners.
- Radiologist is in house during the day and available virtually at night; ER doctor covers emergencies at night.
- May be asked to precept as needed.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- Holidays occasionally, rotating with permanent staff.
- Back-up call every 6th week with a 30-minute response time; if the off-week rotation falls Monday through Wednesday, call is 5p-6am, and if it falls Thursday through Sunday, call is Thursday 5 p.m.–6 a.m., Friday 5 p.m.–7 a.m., Saturday 7a-7a, and Sunday 7a-6a.
Floating Requirements:
- First to float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed.
