Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Peripheral IV insertion experience required, or willingness to obtain training.
Required Credentials:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
- Associate's degree in Applied Science in Radiology required.
Unit Details:
- Performs CT procedures and may perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
- Administers intravenous contrast media using power injectors and monitors patients for possible reactions.
- Assists the radiologist with sterile diagnostic procedures, including biopsies.
- Responsible for PACS image exception resolution and RIS study indexing/completion.
- Will be responsible for transporting patients to and from the ED.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend required.
- No call required.
Special Requests:
- Block scheduling available as long as it includes weekends.
