Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- CAT SCAN required
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Six months CT experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system added by the hospital.
Required Credentials:
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Unit Details:
- Performs complex CT procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures.
- Uses PACS and Epic for image review, documentation, and scheduling outside studies.
- Administers contrast for CT exams and performs venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance procedures.
Special Requests:
- Failed fit tests due to facial hair and inability to shave automatically disqualify the clinician from proceeding.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.
- Every third weekend. Holidays as needed. No on-call.
- Overtime as needed to provide continual quality patient care.
