Unit Details:
The work area includes Cath Lab, EP, and IR.
Duties include monitoring, recording, and circulating cardiac cases and scrubbing device, peripheral, IR, and vascular cases.
Patient/case mix includes CAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, PVD, HF, PE, cardiac, IR, EP, and vascular cases.
Average case volume is 10 cases per day.
Cardiologist coverage/on-call is 24/7.
Uses Merge.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday through Friday; shift times are either 0730 to 1600 or 0830 to 1700.
Call is 1 to 2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend.
Holiday call coverage is required for 2 weekends a year.
Call response time is 30 minutes.

Floating Requirements:
Can float into EP to help circulate or scrub.
