Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- 3-5 years in MRI.
- Experience with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole body MRI cases.
- GE and Siemens MRI experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Breast MRI, Breast MRI biopsy, and cardiac MRI experience preferred.
Special Requests:
- Time off requests require nurse manager approval.
Unit Details:
- Outpatient, inpatient, and ED MRI.
- Uses GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS.
- Support includes a lead tech/coordinator and imaging assistants; traveler will not work alone.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri.
- Weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks, running from 06:30 Saturday through 05:30 Monday and including an on-site Saturday shift, usually 07:30–16:00, with a compensatory weekday off provided.
- First-shift backup is a weekly rotating responsibility, typically 1-2 backup on-call mornings per week, only used if a first-shift staff member is unable to work and the volume cannot be absorbed by the team.
- 30-minute response time.
- No holidays required.
