    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Long term care or rehab experience required.

    Special Requests:

    • Certifications are required to be included at time of submission.

    Unit Details:

    • Long-term care setting.
    • Duties include screening and evaluating patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders; developing plans of care; providing rehabilitative skilled treatment; ADL retraining; therapeutic activities and exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; discharge planning; and supervision of occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students.
    • Productivity expectation is 88-90% for evaluating therapists and 90-93% for assistants.
    • Typical PT/OT treatment times are ~1hr for Medicare B and 30-35 min for Medicare A and managed care.
    • Depending on case mix, therapists can have 7-12 on their schedule for the day, and less for an evaluating therapist if they also have evals.
    • Group therapy is allowed.
    • Each therapist typically has a dedicated device for documentation.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • Mon-Fri. 8 hr days; times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with DOR.
    • Therapist start time is before 6AM and no later than 10AM.
    • No weekends.
    • No call.
