Required Credentials:
Education: Master’s of Occupational Therapy required.
Unit Details:
Provides occupational therapy interventions for children, including assessment and intervention in the areas of fine motor skills, self-help skills, development, and durable medical equipment, and issues appropriate adaptive equipment.
Coordinates with a CCS Case Manager for referral to a CCS panel provider or CCS Medical Therapy Unit when a patient may continue to require occupational therapy services after hospital discharge.
Regularly assumes duties of Charge Therapist.
Assists in orientation of new employees and volunteers.
Instructs and evaluates therapy students and therapy assistant students during clinical affiliations.
Shift & Scheduling:
One weekend per month.
