Required Skills/Experience: Looking for an Occupational Therapist with lymphedema skills and certification to help Curry build a lymphedema program.
Required Credentials: NPI#
Unit/Facility Details: Main location: Gold Beach and float to Brookings as needed.
Special Requests: Needing an OT that is lymphedema certified/specialist but would be open to PT that is lyphedema certified/specialist as well.
Shift & Scheduling:
Start date: 09/14 but will consider start dates within 30 days of 09/14.
The shit will likely by Sat-Tuesday, 4x10 or 8 hour shifts spread through similar days depending on what the therapist wants.
Travel Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities & Salary
Occupational Therapists care for patients with conditions that can interfere with daily activities, such as surgical procedures, arthritis, neurological diseases (for instance, stroke and multiple sclerosis), injuries related to an accident, and developmental conditions. Examples of job responsibilities for Occupational Therapists are patient assessment and developing a plan of care. Occupational Therapists, who may supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, obtain certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. In addition, the American Occupational Therapy Association offers Occupational Therapists the opportunity to achieve board certification or specialty certification in certain areas.
