Required Skills/Experience:
Previous hospital experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Dose Edge IV experience preferred.
Pyxis experience preferred.
Vigilanz experience preferred.
Experience with Vancomycin AUC dosing, aminoglycoside dosing, renal dosing, warfarin, enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, heparin, and DOACs preferred.
Unit Details:
Patient population includes complex trauma, burn, critical care, pediatric, and cardiac surgery cases, including ECMO patients.
Procedures include IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding as needed.
Uses Vigilanz, Dose Edge, Pyxis, and C2 Safe.
Clinical resources include Sanford Guide, Clinical Key, UpToDate, Vanc AUC calculator, Neofax, Briggs, and Lexicomp.
Shift & Scheduling:
Night shift: 2030-0700.
