Required Credentials:
At least a Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
Unit Details:
Treats patients of all ages.
Treatment interventions include therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, ultrasound, electrical stimulation treatment, and aquatic therapy.
Treatment is adjusted based on patient response and available evidence only after communicating with the evaluating therapist and documenting that communication in the daily note.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday to Friday.
Floating Requirements:
Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
