Required Skills/Experience: LTC or Rehab experience required. New grads considered as long as they have Level II experience and not just a Level I observation experience.
Unit Details: Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. Administers manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive and assistive devices as part of the rehabilitation plan under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders. Able to work with the supervising Physical Therapist to obtain any necessary DME or supplies. Able to supervise and support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
Shift & Scheduling: No weekends. No call.
