Additional Information
Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Special Requests: Previous employees may be considered as a one-off exception, but a written request is required to apply.
Unit Details: Provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT to help patients restore mobility, improve function, and meet treatment goals. Responsibilities include delivering therapy interventions per PT plan of care, documenting patient progress, providing patient education and home exercise programs, and communicating patient status to the supervising PT.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule. No call.
Floating Requirements: Covering a leave; unknown length but expected to be 13 weeks. May be moved to another building in Rhode Island to complete the full 13 weeks if the employee returns sooner, so flexibility on location is needed.
