    Additional Information

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    • 2 years previous experience as a Physical Therapist strongly preferred.

    Special Requests:

    • Current driver's license required and car available to travel to patient's home.

    Unit Details:

    • Swing bed and outpatient opportunity.
    • Provides physical therapy services for home health and hospice patients, with a focus on the geriatric population.
    • Work is performed in patient homes, office settings, and community environments depending on position type.
    • Performs comprehensive physical therapy assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, provides interventions focused on mobility, strength, pain reduction, and functional independence, supervises PTAs, and educates patients and caregivers on mobility techniques, equipment use, and home-exercise programs.
