Required Skills/Experience:
- 1 year experience; new grads will be considered.
Unit Details:
- Primarily product verification using Epic Dispense Prep to verify and check medications, kits, crash carts, prepack items, and other items as needed.
- Coordinates workflow in the central pharmacy and checks medication products including IVs, premade IVs, creams, and insulin pens; also checks that code carts are restocked correctly.
- Serves as the primary pharmacist overseeing central pharmacy operations while other pharmacists focus more on order review in the EHR.
- On site 100% of the time.
- Oversees pharmacy technician workflow and redirects tasks as needed; no formal supervision responsibilities.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 7 on/7 off Thursday-Wednesday schedule may vary.
- Weekend hours as required by facility.
- Call requirements as required by facility.
