Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience:

• VFSS (video fluoroscopic swallow study) competency required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Some rehab unit experience preferred.

Special Requests:

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
• Previous facility employees may be considered only with approval from St. Luke's Health System.

Unit Details:

• Acute inpatient and acute rehab setting.
• Treats 8 to 10 patients per day.
• 3 SLPs on per day.
• Common diagnoses include stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Typically Fri-Mon, but may change for vacation coverage.
• Weekend coverage required.
• Holidays as needed.
• Plan to work M-F 5 8’s during onboarding.

Floating Requirements:

• Covers ICU, acute tower, and rehab unit, sharing time equally between acute inpatient and acute rehab. May float to Jerome Medical Center about 30 min from here.
