    Additional Information

    Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

    Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years of recent experience as an Educator or Supervisor in Central Processing/Operating Room, or 6+ years of experience as a Central Processing Tech with progressive responsibility.

    Required Credentials: Certification may be met by CBSPD or other related recognized certification, such as Operating Room Technician.

    Preferred Credentials: Bachelor's degree preferred.

    Special Requests: Local candidates 50 miles or less will receive a reduced rate.

    Unit Details: Assesses, plans, coordinates, and evaluates orientation, continuing education, and in-service programs for Central Processing staff. Provides competency-based training, job shadowing, formal classes, and follow-up for trainees, orientees, new employees, and affiliating students. Coordinates CPD student and new employee clinical rotations with the Operating Room. Educates staff on new CPD technologies, policy and procedure changes, quality improvement initiatives, incident trending, and certification exam preparation and maintenance. Provides educational support to employees across all shifts, including mid shift, 2nd shift, and weekends.

    Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. No weekends or holidays.
