Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- One year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Independent Da Vinci Robot experience required.
- Peds experience required (general and robotic).
- Must be strong across most specialties.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Prior travel experience strongly preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Education: Associate's degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology
Special Requests:
- Assignment length may vary: 16 - 18 weeks.
Unit Details:
- Functions as scrub person and first assist during operative and other invasive procedures; first assist duties may include surgical skin prep and clipping, urinary catheter insertion, and wound closure/cutting sutures under provider supervision.
- Cases include robotics, spine, orthopedic, laparoscopic, general, gynecologic, urology, vascular, thoracic, hybrid, ENT, plastics, bariatric, and pediatric cases.
- Uses specialized instrumentation, manual and powered equipment, lasers, MIS, laparoscopy, and robotics.
- Patient population includes all ages, including pediatric cases from NICU/newborn through age 18.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Thursday.
- On-call as scheduled.
