Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to go on bypass.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: High-acuity cardiovascular and thoracic program with approximately 25 surgeons in regular rotation. Common cases include CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplant, robotics, peripheral vascular, thoracic, aortic repair, vascular access, hybrid TEVAR/EVAR/TAVR, Impella, IABP, and ECMO. Uses Epic.
Shift & Scheduling: Variable day and evening shift hours. Mandatory call/standby required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays; 30 min response time.

As a valuable member of the surgical team, Surgical Technologists prepare items for surgery and play a major role during procedures, including assisting with equipment use, passing suture and other supplies to the surgeon, and ensuring the team maintains sterile technique to reduce the risk of postoperative infection.
