Additional Details:
PAPR & Fit Testing Requirement: PAPR use is not guaranteed across all departments and must be flagged at submission. All applicants must be willing to shave to pass the mandatory N95 fit test to avoid a rescinded offer.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Cardiac cases experience required.
Required Credentials:
- Certified CST training program required.
Unit Details:
- Scrub and assist with circulating functions in the OR under RN supervision.
- Responsibilities include maintaining aseptic technique; setting up the sterile field and instruments; assisting with draping, positioning, counts, specimens, dressings, patient transfer/transport, room turnover, equipment and instrumentation updates, and preference card updates.
- May mix medicated solutions at the sterile field only under the direct supervision of the registered professional nurse; narcotics and controlled drugs may not be dispensed.
Shift & Scheduling:
- No call.
