An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong Ortho/Neuro/Spine experience is required. - Ortho/Neuro/Spine Crani cases are a must for call. Must be strong in totals.
- Must be comfortable with complex spine and neuro cases and in totals. General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, GI, not required but a bonus. Looking for a flexible candidate with excellent work ethic that is also willing to do downtime tasks, if needed. Also willing to help teach our new hires.
Required Credentials: Education: Knowledge of surgical standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a surgical technologist program and four or more years of related experience in the operating room.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Variable days.
- On Call/Call-Back: 6-8 nights of weeknight call and 1 -2weekend during the 13 week contract. 30 min response time meaning traveler must be ready and in the OR within that 30 min.
- Weekend/Holiday: Weekend for call only.
Floating Requirements: May be required to float to Aspirus Merrill, Antigo, Medford or Stanley if needed.
