- 2+ years of experience
Special Requests:
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Credentials:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in similar role within an active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP labs.
Preferred Credentials:
- ABL preferred.
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric patient population with cardiac disease.
- Special procedures include biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, port placements, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, and embolizations.
- Cath lab procedures include diagnostic and interventional cases, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, EP studies, cardioversion, cardiac pacing device implants, LAAO/Watchman, TAVI/TCAR, left heart cath, right heart cath, IABP insertion/removal, ASD closure, percutaneous cardiac interventions, scrub procedures, pacing, IVUS, and IMPELLA.
- Uses Omnicell, Siemens C-Arm (single and bi-plane), and GE ultrasound.
- Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID
Shift & Scheduling:
- On-call required with a 30-minute response time.
- Weekday call shifts are 13.5 hours; number varies based on staff available to take call.
- Weekday call days are selected in rotation with other team members.
- Weekend coverage required.
