Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
Special Requests: If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 or more years experience working in PICU and/or level 4 or greater NICU.
Unit Details: Pediatric and neonatal patient population in NICU or PICU. Approximately 20-25 treatments per day. All aspects of respiratory care; duties include Aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, Hamilton and Servo ventilators, Respironics and Hamilton BiPAP, Fisher Paykel HFNC, airway management, and intrahospital transport. Intubation: assist only. Typically staffed with 8 RTs per shift; traveler will not be the only RT in house. Hospitalist/intensivist in house.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and holidays as scheduled. Preference scheduling permitted with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (weekends are Fri, Sat, and Sun shifts). No call.
