Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years’ experience or accredited course in Echo-cardiology.
Required Credentials:
- ARDMS or ARRT required.
- Must be working toward attaining registries in all accredited areas.
Unit Details:
- Patients are treated for cardiac problems and undergo ultrasound testing.
- Patient population ranges from neonatal to geriatric and may be high acuity.
- Exposure to blood and body fluids is always present.
- The stat nature of procedures can make the area a very stressful place to work.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Scheduled call at night and on weekends; the unit operates 7 days per week.
