Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience. Will consider 2 years if they have been at an academic teaching hospital.
- Minimum 2 years of travel experience. Potentially open to less; however, cannot take someone with this being their first assignment.
- Prior cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound experience in a health care environment
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with ultrasound equipment, transesophageal transducers, research computer systems, centricity hospital information system, and digital echo storage system preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Equivalent combination of education and experience from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program may be accepted; one year of education equals one year of experience.
- RCS via CCI is acceptable.

- At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Unit Details:
- Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound procedures, depending on position, and acquires appropriate echocardiographic and/or vascular data.
- Provides education and training in ultrasound procedures for fellows, interns, and other staff.
- Uses Philips EPIQs and Intellispace.
- Experience with ultrasound equipment, transesophageal transducers, research computer systems, Centricity hospital information system, and digital echo storage system preferred.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Call as needed.
