    Additional Details:

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Must be able to independently do vein harvesting. Travelers MUST have Vein Harvesting experience.
    • 3 years of CV experience is required, nonnegotiable.

    Required Credentials: EVH certification through NBSTSA, NSAA, or ABSA.

    Unit/Facility Details: First assists will be expected to cover the surgical tech role as needed throughout the week. Surgical Tech First Assist provides direct support to surgeons during surgical procedures. Positioning and prepping patients prior to surgery, ensuring clear visibility for the surgeon by using instruments such as retractors and sponges, controlling bleeding, closing surgery sites using sutures or staples and properly dressing wounds. They also collaborate with doctors and other surgical team members to ensure proper post-operative care of patients.

    Shift & Scheduling: Weekday call: Coverage from the end of the scheduled shift through 07:00 AM the following morning. Weekend and holiday call: Coverage from 07:00 AM to 07:00 AM the following day.
