    Additional Information

    Required Credentials: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Associates degree in Radiology Technology required. EKG training required / Annual EKG competency review required.

    Preferred Credentials: ODC preferred.

    Unit Details: Assists with performing sterile diagnostic and interventional care to patients from young adults through the elderly. Diagnostic and interventional cardiac, electrophysiology, structural heart, and interventional radiology procedures include Cardiac Cath and interventional procedures (PTCA, PCI, Rotablator, CSI, Penumbra), Balloon Pump / Impella insertion, maintenance, and troubleshooting, Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) / Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio (iFR), vascular procedures (IVC filters, peripheral runoffs, acute and chronic occlusions, PTA/stenting, Radiofrequency Ablations, AAA repair, TCAR, Carotid Angiography, Renal Angiograms, Graftograms/Fistulograms, EKOS), vascular access, arterial and/or venous sheath maintenance/pulling, temporary pacemaker insertion, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman, PFO closures, MitraClips), pacemaker/ICD placement, loop recorder insertion/removal, Radiofrequency Ablations, cryoablations, Electrical Pulse Field Ablations, electrophysiology procedures, and synchronized cardioversion/defibrillation. Uses arterial and venous closure devices (Mynx, Vascade, Perclose, AngioSeal, TR Band), Spectranetics laser, Acist device or manual manifold for contrast delivery, and Philips XPER hemodynamic monitoring system; includes hemodynamic monitoring, ACT, PCI registry data gathering, radiological positioning/techniques, cardiac monitor lead placement, patient transport, troubleshooting X-ray and Cath Lab equipment, postmortem care, and care of critically ill patients.

    Shift & Scheduling: Call coverage 24/7 (365 days) with a 30-minute hospital arrival time.
