    Additional Information

    Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

    Required Credentials:

    • Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed.
    • Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed.

    Special Requests:

    • Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
    • Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
    • In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

    Unit Details:

    • Pediatric cardiac cath lab performing heart, IR, and EP procedures.
    • Assists with cardiovascular procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system.
    • Performs active physiological monitoring of heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations, including intra-procedure testing such as oxygen saturation, cardiac output, shunting, and hemodynamic calculations.
    • Anticipates changes during cases, including catheter position, and communicates patient condition changes to the physician and team.
    • Assists with room setup, patient transport, post-procedure clean-up, and patient education on post-procedure monitoring and catheter insertion site care.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • 40 hours per week with rotating on-call coverage.
