Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with Impella, high-risk PCI, and ECMO preferred.

Unit Details:
- Role includes scrub, monitor, and circulate duties for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assists with moderate sedation under physician supervision; may administer medications and contrast, start IVs, and administer IV fluids as directed.
- Adult patients. Cardiac and peripheral procedures, including carotid and hybrid cath lab/OR cases. No neuro cases.
- Will not be covering EP cases.
- Uses angiographic archival and digital x-ray systems, plus Philips Xper FD10 and FD20.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Monday-Friday; days can vary depending on department needs.
- On-call 1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month, dependent on departmental needs. Weekends are Friday 1700 - Monday 0700.

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella support device, Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), pacemakers, Electrophysiology (EP) procedures, structural heart procedures (e.g., TAVR, MitraClip), Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), TandemHeart support, and neuro-interventional procedures (cerebral angiograms, thrombectomy, coiling, carotid stenting) required.

Unit Details:
High-acuity, fast-paced interventional environment.
Functions in scrub, monitor, and circulate roles; assists with moderate sedation, medication and contrast administration, and IV starts.
Uses an angiographic archival system and digital X-ray acquiring system.
Cares for patients across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday through Friday as assigned.
Minimum of one weekday on-call shift per week.
On-call every 4th weekend.
Additional weekday and weekend on-call shifts may be needed to support coverage for open positions.
May be required to stay beyond the scheduled shift if more than one procedure room remains in operation at the end of the day.
