Experience with CT Siemens Force scanners.
Tech will primarily be alone on Sunday.

Shift & Scheduling:
Day/evening schedule: Sun 7a-11p; M, T, W 2p-10:30.

CT Technologist

Required Skills/Experience:
2 years recent experience in Radiology and CT.

Preferred Credentials:
Completion of a CT technology certificate program preferred.

Unit Details:
Reviews patient history and physician's orders and educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams.
Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitors patient condition and responds to status changes as appropriate.
Prepares equipment and supplies; implements safety standards, performs equipment quality control, and troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as needed.
Positions patients and performs imaging procedures; analyzes image quality and takes appropriate action to resolve issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.

Shift & Scheduling:
Plus 50% on-call with every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Required to float between X-ray and CT departments.

Required Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Accreditation.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:
The unit serves neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Support services include IV teams, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and transportation.

Shift & Scheduling:
No call.
Weekend requirement: yes.
