Failed fit tests due to facial hair and inability to shave automatically disqualify clinicians from proceeding.

Required Credentials:

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Unit Details:

• Performs complex CT procedures and assists with interventional and therapeutic procedures.
• Reviews patient clinical history and contrast questionnaires, prepares CT protocols, obtains outside studies for radiologist comparison, and evaluates imaging in PACS.
• Administers contrast media, performs venipuncture and IV patency/maintenance procedures, and monitors patients for adverse reactions during procedures.
• Uses PACS and hospital HIS/RIS systems.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Sun-Thursday schedule (Friday and Saturday off).
• Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.
• Overtime as needed.
• No on-call required.
