Physical Therapist

Required Credentials: Hospital required trainings.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends: On request

Role includes evaluation and rehabilitation of patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, with treatment including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive/assistive devices.
May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students.

Shift & Scheduling:
Mon-Fri.
Times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with the DOR.
Therapists' start time is before 6AM and no later than 10AM.
No weekends unless a holiday falls within Mon-Fri, then hours may be made up on the weekend.
No call.

Unit Details:
Provides physical therapy services to residents in a long-term care facility.
Evaluates posture, gait, balance, coordination, and strength to develop treatment plans focused on regaining mobility and independence.
Helps patients improve independence with tasks such as getting up from a chair and climbing stairs.

Unit Details:
- Multidisciplinary outpatient therapy department that also services occupational and speech therapy.
- Adult caseload with orthopedic, post-op orthopedic, pain management, neurological, and sports medicine diagnoses.
- PT evaluations are 60 minutes with 30-minute treatment sessions; flexibility is appropriate based on patient needs.
- All therapy is 1:1 with the therapist and patient; no double booking and no techs treating patients.
- Productivity expectation is 80% patient care time each shift.

- Weekend hours as per facility needs.

Unit Details: Patient ratios: acute 12:1, rehab 4-5:1. Uses safe patient handling equipment and standard rehab equipment. Evaluations/Treatments.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. 1 weekend every 6 weeks; able to flex off days if working weekend.

Floating Requirements: May cover both acute and rehab.
