Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Graduate of Accredited Radiology Program
Unit Details: Outpatient radiology/MRI setting. Positions patients and places specified receiver coils according to radiologist protocols; enters patient history, anatomical area, orientation, and position-of-entry data into the MRI computer; keys scan sequences and adjusts transmitters and receivers; monitors patient safety and comfort from the control room and by closed circuit TV; reviews image quality on the video display screen; photographs images; and maintains magnet room safety by alerting staff to metal hazards.
Shift & Scheduling: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11am-9pm and Saturday 7am-5pm. No on-call.
Required Skills/Experience: 1-3 years’ experience as MRI Technician
