Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
Proficiency in vascular, neuro/neurohybrid, thoracic, robotics, transplant, general, orthopedic, hand, spine, podiatry, gynecology, and carotid/endar cases is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Robotics experience with the Da Vinci D5 system is preferred.
Special Requests:
RTO requires nurse manager (NM) approval.
Unit Details:
Cases include vascular, neuro/neurohybrid, thoracic, robotics, transplant, general, orthopedic, hand, spine, podiatry, gynecology, and carotid/endar surgery.
Equipment includes Plum ICU Medical IV pumps, Omnicell medication-dispensing equipment, Bovie units, tourniquets, Harmonic equipment, OR beds, stretchers, and the Da Vinci D5 robotic system.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend rotation is based on unit needs.
On-call coverage is required; the number of hours will be determined based on the schedule, with a 40-minute response time.
Holiday expectations are based on unit needs.
Schedules are made in 6-week increments.
Floating Requirements:
Floating within the OR may be required to relieve other staff for lunch breaks.
