Unit Details:
The technologist is expected to be competent in all procedures offered by the department and willing to learn new procedures. Procedures include neuro, body, MSK, CTAs, IR procedures such as biopsies, ablations, and drain removals, 3D reformats, colonography, enterography, urograms, trauma scans, and dual-energy CT.
Duties include performing quality CT exams and QA, meeting departmental scan-time benchmarks and team standards, and helping keep the department stocked and compliant with standards.
Equipment includes GE equipment with 8 CT scanners across campuses: 4 256-slice, 3 64-slice, and 1 16-slice; McKesson PACS and barcode medication administration are also used.
Shift & Scheduling:
Scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Call is required.
Holidays are required as needed and scheduled.
Floating Requirements:
Floating will be to other locations within the CT department under the same manager.
