References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RNs, allied and ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.
Required Skills/Experience: Ability to attend high risk deliveries.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Labor and delivery experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Includes some pediatric care in the emergency room. Community-based facility.
Shift & Scheduling: Holiday coverage required. Every other weekend required (Saturday, Sunday). Required to work 2 of the 3 holidays; the leadership team will determine the 2 holidays.
Floating Requirements: Will be required to rotate in the following areas: Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Adult Med-Surg unit, Adult Progressive Care Unit, Labor & Delivery, and NICU. Facility needs a traveler who can float between high-risk deliveries and NICU II (30-40% within a 13-week assignment), adult acute care, and ER. This position is not home based and will float to meet the needs and skill set on arrival. Will float between skill set and other IU facilities.
