Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Adult ICU work setting required.
- Airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Trauma, teaching hospital, and ER experience preferred.
- Experience with bronchoscopes, Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, and Philips V60 preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
- Education must be in-person, accredited by CoARC, and regionally accredited through CHEA.
Special Requests:
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Locals accepted for allied positions.
- Must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
- IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.
Unit Details:
- General Care and Adult Intensive Care.
- Adult and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 3x12s or 4x12s.
- Cannot work more than 5 days in a row.
- Holidays are typically a rotation.
- Every other weekend.
