Nicole is a clinical bedside nurse and educator in Pediatric Critical Care. She has worked in the clinical setting since 2003 as a nurse and an educator. She is a chapter member of the Capitol City Black Nurses Association and is passionate about combating health disparities and inequity through education, advocacy and community work. // Ashley Wood is currently a Pediatric ICU nurse at UC Davis Medical Center. She graduated from Cal State University Hayward with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Nursing. Ashley is currently in her 10th year as a bedside nurse in the PICU. She is a founding member of Capitol City Black Nurses Association and is extremely passionate about human rights and equality.
