Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience: Two or more years of full-time staff experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown units prior to any travel assignments.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Float Pool experience highly desired. Previous experience in a large, academic, level 1 trauma center highly preferred. Former Queen's travelers highly desired.
Preferred Credentials: Specialty certification highly preferred.
Special Requests: Time-off requests during the contract term are not allowed.
Unit Details: If not needed as an RN on their unit or a similar unit, may be assigned as a nursing assistant or safety sitter.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating day/night shifts. Holidays as required.
Floating Requirements: Required to float as needed to areas of similar or lesser acuity, including Tele, Med/Surg, ED holds, or PACU holds.
