Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Cardiohelp experience required.
- Must be able to manage a Cardiohelp system, practice drills, and keep up on any education as needed.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
Unit Details:
- ECMO department is a separate team that specializes in managing ECMO pumps.
- Pump specialist for patients on ECMO for cardiac or non-cardiac reasons, including VA ECMO and VV ECMO.
- Neonate, infant, and pediatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every third weekend.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU.
- If there are no ECMO patients, the specialist will work in the ICUs as a bedside nurse taking care of cardiac, non-cardiac, or NICU patients based on unit needs.
