Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any).
Required Skills/Experience:
- LDRP with postpartum experience.
Required Credentials:
- Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests:
- RTO must be listed at time of submission.
- Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network; must have left in good status, if former employee.
Unit Details:
- Adult and neonatal patient population.
- 1 OR on the unit.
- 1:1 with active labors and 1:3 with postpartum couples.
- AWHONN staffing standards in place.
- Resuscitation nurses and break nurses are available on the unit.
- Level II maternity unit with a Level 1 nursery.
- Admits babies >35 weeks gestation.
- Cares for gestational hypertensives, pre-eclampsia, twins, diabetics, TOLACs, and low-risk patients.
- If a newborn needs a higher level of care, transfer is to the nearest NICU.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.
- Every other weekend.
- Up to one on-call shift/q 2 weeks if low census.
Floating Requirements:
- Will position float between units: yes per unit needs.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
