All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract.

Unit Details

Unit-specific care includes Accuchecks, implanted glucose sensors, PEG tube (G-tube) feedings, Duopa pumps, IV hydration PRN, phlebotomy lab draws, peritoneal dialysis (subcutaneous only), respiratory treatments (nebulizers), and wound care.

Patient population includes dementia, Alzheimer's, TBI, plegics, cognitive impairments, physical impairments, and other LTC level of care appropriate diagnoses.

Shift & Scheduling

Night shifts: 19:00-7:30; day shifts: 7:00-19:30.

Shifts will be either days or nights, depending on facility needs at the time of start date; clinicians are not asked to rotate between night/day shifts (occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs).

Flexible contract hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks; traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.

RTO: No more than 1 week will be considered for a 13 week contract.

Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's); preference is for travelers to be willing and able to work any holidays.

No call.
