Unit Details:
Trauma/ortho/med-surg unit.
Typical procedures include wound vac changes, wound care, IV insertions, and insertion of indwelling Foley catheters.
Uses IV pumps, wound vacs, SCD pumps, Kangaroo pumps, chest tubes, telemetry, PCA pumps, BiPAPs, and epidurals.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend shifts.
On call when census is low.
Floating Requirements:
Floating to 6A, 3A, 3 South, and 4 South.
