Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. No more than 1 week of RTO will be considered for a 13 week contract and no more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26 week contract. Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). Preference is for travelers to be willing/able to work any holidays. All RTO must be sent with submittal. RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Dementia, Alzheimer's, TBI, plegics, cognitive impairments, physical impairments, and other LTC level of care appropriate diagnoses. Accuchecks, implanted glucose sensors, PEG tube feedings, Duopa pumps, IV hydration PRN, phlebotomy lab draws, peritoneal dialysis (subcutaneous only), respiratory treatments (nebulizers), and wound care. Uses ECS charting.

Shift & Scheduling: 4x12 variable or 3x12 variable, traveler's choice. Day shift: 7:00-19:30. Night shift: 19:00-7:30. Shifts will be either days or nights, depending on facility needs at time of start date. Caregivers are not asked to rotate between day and night shifts except for occasional urgent staffing needs. No call. 60 hours per 2 weeks. Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.

Floating Requirements: Float within scope to meet facility needs.
