Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- CVICU experience a plus but not required.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric blended ICU/CVICU unit.
- Common diagnosis/treatment includes STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.
- Equipment includes Baxter pumps.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- Call required.
Special Requests:
- No block schedule requests; 48 hours can be considered but not guaranteed.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and to ED holding for admitted patients on an as-needed basis.
