Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Strong neuro experience required.
Required Credentials: LA City Fire Card required. Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cardiovascular, multi-trauma, gunshot, stroke, STEMI, motor vehicle accident, orthopedic, sepsis, and surgical patient population. Thrombectomy-capable stroke center with high acuity neuro population; STEMI receiving; CABG/Valve/IABP; CRRT. Lines and intubations. Travelers will not be required to assist with ICP monitoring or placement, IABP, conscious sedation, GI procedures, or chest tube insertions. Cardiac and GI procedures at the bedside if unstable.
Shift & Scheduling: No call. No weekend requirement.
Floating Requirements: Float to ICU overflow and PCU/Tele as needed. Do not float first; float in rotation with all team members.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
