You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.

Neuro Intensive Care Unit, FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Care of the patient on ECMO, ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Nurse driven ECMO protocols, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Valve Repair/Replacement, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Accessing/Managing Ports, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains, Post Craniotomy, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of BiPAP.
Shift & schedule requirements: Weekends Required: Yes, 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Floating requirements: Will float to all ICUs and may float to the ED or PACU to care for ICU patients in those areas. May occasionally float to MS/PCU units with 1:4 patient ratios
Special request requirements: Please note that we may still have Covid-19 patients and all nurses are expected to be able to take care of any isolation patient.
