Additional Details:
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
Unit Details: Cares for critically ill trauma, neuro, and surgical patients. Trauma cases include blunt force and penetrating injuries, including abdominal, maxillofacial, orthopedic, and thoracic trauma. Neuro cases include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, aneurysms, brain tumors, seizures, and traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. Surgical cases include complex spine and abdominal surgeries, head and neck cases, and specialty OB/GYN. Uses advanced hemodynamic monitoring, massive transfusion, ICP monitoring, brain tissue oxygenation, ventricular drains, and continuous dialysis.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. Holiday/hard-to-fill shift requirements TBD.
