Unit Details:
Provides direct care to adult patients undergoing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
Administers moderate sedation and other medications; manages patients during moderate sedation.
Performs hemodynamic monitoring throughout procedures, identifies potential life-threatening arrhythmias, and implements appropriate clinical treatment.
Participates in programmed electrical stimulation directed by the physician.
Shift & Scheduling:
Shift times are 0700-1630 or 0730-1700 based on department needs, with a rotating day off and late shifts as assigned to finish cases.
Floating Requirements:
Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
