Required Skills/Experience:
Pass medications and have supervisory skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous nursing home experience is a plus.
Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Each employment history entry must include all the following in the resume: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility.
At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Block scheduling is available based on need.
RTO is needed upfront; additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.
Unit Details:
Patient population includes COPD, dementia, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and CHF.
Day/evening shift ratio: 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs, and 20 residents; NOC shift ratio: 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs, and 40 residents.
Job duties include medication administration, wound care, Foley care, ostomy care, and supervising CNAs/TMAs.
No IVs or titratable drips are used.
RNs do not read strips.
Physicians are available after hours.
Medications are dispensed using blister pack cards.
An on-site pharmacy is available.
Shift & Scheduling:
Shift may be 8s or 12s.
Every other weekend is required.
Every other holiday is required.
No call.
