Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience:
One year of MedSurg experience is required.
Special Requests:
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Cannot have worked in a permanent or PRN role at CSH within the last 12 months.
Unit Details:
The assignment includes ED and MedSurg swing-bed care.
Patient ratios are 1 to 4 for acute care, 1 to 6 for swing-bed patients, and 1 to 4 in the ED.
RNs are required to titrate drips.
Equipment includes nebs, oxygen via nasal cannula and mask, a ventilator used only in the ED and for transport to another facility, and CPAPs that may be brought in for swing-bed patients.
Telemetry is available, and ED nurses read strips.
Shift & Scheduling:
Night shift runs 7p-7a.
Every other weekend is required.
Holiday coverage is every other holiday.
Call/standby coverage is flex time.
Floating Requirements:
The clinician is first to float.
The clinician will float to ED holds if needed and may also work charge.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
